Research Interests

My research interest is in developing a fundamental understanding of non-equilibrium plasmas for gas conversion, catalysis and plasma assisted combustion applications. Using various laser and electrical diagnostics it is possible to probe composition, vibrational and rotational population distributions, electron parameters and electric field strengths. Based on this information, theory can be validated against reality, and a deeper understanding of the underlying physics can be obtained.
